Basileia Kingdom Marketing Strategies

Seek first the Basileia of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

In the gospels, Peter was a fisherman and business owner, partnering with Andrew, James, and John. Despite his hard work as an owner operator, after a night of unsuccessful fishing, Jesus asked to use Peter’s boat to preach. Tired and skeptical, Peter agreed.

Then, Jesus told Peter to cast his nets again. Though it seemed pointless, Peter obeyed, and the catch was overwhelming. This miraculous provision was life-changing. With his financial needs met, Peter rearranged his business operations to follow Jesus with his business partners, stepping into his God-given purpose.

Consider Isaac. He was already a wealthy man as a shepherd with huge flocks inherited from his father, Abraham. But there was a drought, which is more than enough to destroy all that wealth in a single season without feed or water. The smart thing was to go to Egypt like his father did, where there was plenty of both water and feed, and weather out the economic storm.

Instead, God told him to stay. Isaac then sowed crops in faith, trusting in God's word, and contrary to best practice (better to save your seed in a drought), contrary to what the experts said (his father was an expert shepherd and knew Egypt was the "right" call), and contrary to what he knew (Isaac was a shepherd not a crop farmer). He reaped 100-fold, which would have fed his family, his employees, his livestock, and probably sold the excess to his neighbours for a profit.

What is Basileia?

You may recognise Basileia by its English word, kingdom. Matthew 6:33 reads “Seek first the Basileia of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” Basileia is the ancient Greek word for Kingdom, but it means more than that.

Basileia is what we’re called to. Whether you’re a born again Christian or a sworn atheist, the call is the same. Whatever your need, whatever your lack, pursuing this command, will see all provision and purpose added to your life.

Who is your coach?

Andrew is a veteran of over 17 years owning a print, marketing, and advertising business that seeks to build the Basileia of God. He helped hundreds of business owners market their businesses. In 2020, at the very start of COVID, he pursued the call of God into ministry through Bible College studying a Master of Divinity and Master of Ministry Leadership, and was called to be a pastor of a small country church.

But life happens. In 2025 he is now a survivor of an abusive marriage, watched his pastoral ministry disappear due to false accusations, and brought to the brink of suicide by a church denomination protecting the persecutors, criminals, and abusers who destroyed his life.

One thing he learned is the importance of understanding how God designs us for a purpose and a calling. In understanding our gifts and the treasures God places in our lives and business, we can understand God’s direction for our lives, giving us purpose, direction, and bringing prosperity.
